From there, we’ll use advanced Nearmaps technology to determine the home’s size and position. This technology enables us to provide a highly accurate and customised quote, including a visual representation of how the solar panels will be installed on the roof. 

You’ll receive at least two quotes detailing different solar options and their respective costs. Importantly, we’ll estimate each option’s energy savings, empowering you to make the best-informed decision for you and your family. The quotation also includes estimated installation timelines, highlighting our commitment to transparency and customer service.

Step 2: Accepting the Quote

Once the customer has reviewed the quotes and decided on an option, we’ll request a deposit and schedule an onsite inspection. 

This visit is crucial as it allows our staff to assess potential issues, such as access restrictions, that could affect the installation process.

Customers interested in viewing the solar panels in person can visit our display location. Here, they can learn about the features and benefits of different solar products and ask any questions face-to-face.

Following the site inspection, we’ll apply to Essential Energy for the necessary approvals on your behalf. This step involves determining if there will be any export limits. 

*Export limits refer to the maximum amount of solar energy fed into the grid.*

Network service providers set these limits to maintain grid stability and safety. The approval process typically takes 2-3 weeks, after which our friendly staff will contact you to schedule the installation date, taking weather conditions into account to find a suitable day.

Step 3: Installation & Advice

Now, the installation phase is where we truly stand out from our competitors.

A team of at least three to four Mega Watt Power installers will be deployed to ensure the installation is finished in just one day—that’s it—minimising disruption for you and your family. This efficient approach is a significant advantage over many other suppliers, who take longer with smaller installation teams.

Post-installation, we’ll notify the energy company that the home requires a smart meter. In New South Wales, this requirement is mandatory and usually takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the energy supplier. 

*Typically, the smart meter installation is carried out by the energy retailer at no additional cost to the customer.*

We also help customers verify that their solar system is operational. This involves checking the solar inverter switch and monitoring the daily green light to ensure the system generates power.
